AmeriCorps Youth Services

CareerSource Pinellas and CareerSource Tampa Bay are seeking AmeriCorps members to serve at-risk youth between the ages of 14-24 for the Youth Services program. Members will assist youth by providing career exploration and guidance, mentoring and tutoring, employer engagement activities, and follow-up services after a youth is placed in employment or enrolled in an educational program.

While working as a full-time AmeriCorps member, you can:

  • Earn a living allowance of up to $12,530, in addition to gaining training and valuable work experience
  • Receive a Segal AmeriCorps Education Award for $5,775 to help pay for college, graduate school, or vocational training or to repay student loans
