Florida Governor's Council on Indian Affairs, Inc.

The Florida Governor’s Council on Indian Affairs, Inc. provides a variety of services to American Indians, Native Alaskans and Native Hawaiians living in both Florida and Georgia. One of its primary goals is to provide technical assistance for the educational, economic, social and cultural advancement of the Native American citizens within the states of Florida and Georgia. The Council also provides employment and training programs for the economically disadvantaged, underemployed or unemployed through a grant from the Department of Labor, Workforce Innovation Opportunity Act. Assistance is designed to meet the needs of each individual, meeting them where they are now and helping them to get to economic self-sufficiency.
